Course Description
A study of the well-known Flemish artist from the point of view of his
interests and objectives in depicting his world, the foibles of his
contemporaries, and in recording their lore and mannerisms. Also the
confrontation of those interests with those of the broader world of the
Renaissance, the Reformation, and the theoretical concepts of art.
